カジノ・ギャンブルに漂う胡散臭さ。
「カジノを日本に創ろう。どうせ造るならドイツのバーデン・バーデンのカジノ」と思い立って１０年前親しいと思っていた友人に「カジノの会を作るから手を貸せ」と言ったら、「パチンコ屋の手先になるのか」 「カジノ あかん、あかん」 「やくざになるのか」と聞く耳を持ってくれなかった。また話を聞いてくれても、バーデン・バーデンを知る人もいなかった。
この頃カジノから想像出来るのは、ラスベガスのギャング。フランクシナトラが、上手く立ち回り女を口説きいかさま手口で大金をつかむ。と言ういかさまで半端者のイメージが先に立った。
ラスベガスは、４０年前、フラミンゴホテルが平屋の様な建物だった時代、キャンピングカーで通過し、たまたま遊んだゲームで小金が手に入ったのが、初めてのカジノ体験であった。
２５年前、ヨーロッパの温泉療法体験ツアーでバーデン・バーデン、モンテカルロのカジノ体験した事が、私をカジノファンにした切っ掛けであった。
